Yes, jetbrains does listen and I thank them for it. I never expected to hear back from them on my feedback on TeamCity. If you guys are reading this, thanks for fixing the personal build visual studio plugin/tortoise exception issue.

I think DevExpress listens as well (www.devexpress.com) though they don’t have nightly builds :(.

767 is good. JP Boodhoo is using 771 this week in his training class and it has endured no less than 15 hours of extreme JP torture and lived to tell about it, so that one is a good bet, too.

@Dmity: Thanks for commenting! Keep up the good work. I don’t mind bugs and missing features because I know that you guys are at least looking at them and I have a high degree of assurance that a fix attempt will be made. That’s all I ask!

I hate when I file a bug report with other companies and it’s surreptitiously closed without so much as an explanation.

I understand you can’t fix ALL the bugs, but the fact that you at least consider them and comment on them is a huge step forward for customer service.

The good thing about our work is that we have an absolutely fantastic people who are willing to download and try our not-always-quite-ready-for-prime-time nightlies and suffering through all the exceptions, bugs and not-exactly-ready features – giving us the extremely important, valuable, and very often well-though-out input along the way.

I honestly do not know what we did to deserve this :)

This is one of the best aspects of ReSharper is that they LISTEN. if only some other companies (none spring to mind) can do the same!
