I happen to *like* comic sans. Except it's not monospace, so useless for coding.

Comic sans is only horrendously misused because there aren't a whole lot of alternative friendly, slightly informal but still readable fonts *installed by default* on the PCs of the kind of people who misuse it. Even on my Windows 7 box, there are only maybe a couple of fonts with a similar feel to them. I don't like Comic sans myself, but I recognise why it gets abused.
A better virus would replace Comic sans with Wingdings, and reconfigure Clippy to say "It looks like you're trying to use Comic Sans. Why don't you give Eras a go for a change?" Chances are the targets will still have versions of Office that still have it as a feature...

This would have the added advantage that it would target the people who are most likely to use Comic Sans.

Quick tip: whatever you do, do not uninstall the font as a counter measure. I did once: that way, you no longer notice that people send you stuff in Comic Sans, you might even be forwarding or annotating their stuff in Comic Sans and never realize it until it is too late...

But Comic Sans is only "bad" if you use it in the wrong way, right? Extrapolating this reasoning to anything that makes it easy to make mistakes, you have a whole sea of "features" of .NET and C# that would also need to be removed.
