Also, since we have a read-only repository IStatelessSession does not work with NHibernate.LINQ. Arghh! Crazy. If you have a solution, please post something about it.

Thanks for responding Jimmy. I'm actually pretty versed in StructureMap but not in NHibernate or MVC. So the project I'm about to start will be based on MVC 2/SM/NHibernate. It will be all reporting (no data updates).

So I'm looking at Rob Conery's Starter site, yours at Headspring Labs and this one here (http://aspnetdesignpatterns.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/49914#) as well Jeremy's NHibernate solution (http://codebetter.com/blogs/jeremy.miller/archive/2010/01/06/how-dovetail-uses-structuremap-with-nhibernate.aspx)

I'm trying to see who's got the overall best design utilizing the aforementioned technologies. I read through your SM/MVC series but don't see you utilizing it in your labs, at least not all of it. So just trying to see which starter can help me build a really well designed site. If I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to.

Just wanted your thoughts or your suggestions if you had to start out a site from scratch.

@Frank

Are you looking for technical resources on StructureMap or how dependency injection works with the dependency inversion principle?

Hi Jimmy,

Starting out a new MVC 2 project and looking for a startup project utilizing StructureMap. Simply looking for proper design patterns. I see you have a Headspring Lab project as well as the MVC/StructureMap series. Any idea the best way to start?

Thank you in advance.
