Thanks for your feedback - I really appreciate it.  I&#039;m glad that you found most of the features useful.  I hope that you’ll have a chance to play with Beta 2 when it comes out.

Regarding generation, I’m 100% in agreement with you that generating unit tests != TDD. We decided to continue to support generation in VSTS for the large number of developers which for one reason or another still do not feel comfortable with writing unit tests before they code.  While our internal studies have shown that practicing TDD = better quality code, they have also shown that simply writing unit tests after coding helps dev teams find bugs earlier in the dev cycle, helping to produce better code as well.   So while I&#039;d love to see as many teams as possible begin to practice TDD tomorrow, it may be a while before the masses chose to do so.  Therefore, the team felt  impelled to continue to improve our generation story to encourage more devs to try unit testing out while improving our TDD story as well for the Orcas release.
