I had a few open repositories (on 8081) for a couple of years using this. It was great and really handly to get at my code, but transfer times could be sluggish. It took forever to move larger projects over HTTP. Ended up using network shares for bulk of the work and the HTTP interface for easy access to the repository (but no big updates).
