Download All the Build Videos, while you sleep

I don’t remember where I found this a while back, but this is the script I am using to download all the Build 2012 videos to my office. ( so I can share them with all my co-workers)

This script accounts for a Windows authenticated proxy. If you don’t need that delete the two lines that set the .proxy.credentials property.

enjoy.

Very nice –  I modified it a little to make the file name the speaker and title. https://gist.github.com/4007485

I added some progress on the download which i completely stole from http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jasonn/archive/2008/06/13/downloading-files-from-the-internet-in-powershell-with-progress.aspx
I placed it in a gist:

FYI: Powershell has a commandlet for progress ‘Write-Progress …’. Possibly something to consider.
